London Flat & Ed's birthday Tea

Here are more pictures of our London flat. This is the bedroom. It is a good size compared to most flats. At the Centre, we have tea at 4pm on M-F where we have tea and biscuits, which are really cookies. For a staffers birthday, we have a special tea and that person gets to pick their treat. Others have chosen scones and cheese cake. Ed's choice was ice cream sundays. It was a good break for him as he was working hard in the garden getting it ready for a wedding this Saturday.
Cemetery resident of the week: ROBINSON, James (1813-1862). Surgeon dentist to Prince Consort. First dentist to use anaesthetics.

The garden looks so fantastic, I'd love if you could get some of that to grow at RMMC! Phyllis, I can see why you can't escape the lump noises in that room. It's great to see you guys in action on a day that I was missing you!

Aren't missionaries supposed to sleep on the floor and only eat things out of cans or something. Oh, and how can you even see that TV. I can see it now... ED- "honey, where are the 3254th pair of glasses we bought?" Phyllis- "Ed, they're in your pocket!"

Is the ice cream as good as, or better than, the ice cream we eat here? I do have a concern; if Ed eats ice cream every night (which I can understand!) he may eventually find that he has trouble accessing that small bathroom.

I was wanting to tease Ed about the every night ice cream ration, but refrained. I'm glad that Spike touched on that point.
I'm wondering how big your freezer is and how you fit the ice cream in there?
It's fun to see your place, since chances are we won't get to visit.
