Day to day

I thought we would show some of o.ur everyday things that we encounter such as the kitchen. Everything is small. Most buildings/houses that you see in London are rarely a one family house. They are divided up into many different flats which usually have only 2 to 3 rooms plus a bathroom. We have a kitchen which is large compared to most, a living room, bedroom and a bathroom the size of a closet. As you can see, we have to either bend over or kneel to see into our refrigerator. The stove is only half the size of what I'm used to. We feel lucky to have the size of flat we have as many of the other people that live here have only one room and have to share a bathroom and use the centres kitchen. We'll post pictures of the rest of the flat in a few days. Cheers!

That certainly is a small stove! Your fridge is like a mini fridge in a hotel room! This would be shocking compared to what we are used to back in the states.

It sounds to me like you guys are experiencing college life all over again. -Great social experiences and creative living environment. I'm envious of the social aspect of it. You guys won't know what to do with all the space once you get home into your Colorado house.

Your kitchen brings back memories of ours at Schafbusch in 93-95.

But it is nice to see your living arrangements and we look forward to seeing some more . Eventually we hope to make out visit with you and to experience on site the many interesting places in London.

We are well and hope to have another Skype visit.

Hey now, we started out in an 8' X 18' travel trailer with bunk beds and no running water during the winter. So we put the christmas tree in the shower.

Thanks for sharing your "digs". Will be watching for more!

Are you making a one-egg omelet on the stove? How do you cook for 2 people? I hope you have a larger skillet!
