This is Ancelle who is just about to turn 3.  She got some water colors on Sunday and this is what she made for me!  The beads are suppose to be the 'wrapping'.  Ancell and her family rent one of the LMC's flats. This is the hole in the fence that was probably started by some fox and has been discovered by the children that live in one of the LMC's flats and the neighbor's kids next door.  They go back and forth so they can play together.
Ivy has been growing all along the fence in the back garden and it was getting out of control.  Ed is halfway done here tearing it off.

So I am about ready to give up on this blog.  Mostly because things change with it and I don't like the most recent change they made.  So about three pictures down is what should be at the beginning.  I hope I can tolerate it until we are done here.  This is some of the house members getting ready for our hobo dinners last week.
Here's one of the vegetarian ones.
Autumn is in the air in London and we thought before it gets too cold, we would have another outside meal, this time doing hobo dinners.  Most of you know I'm sure what those are but just in case....It's where you take meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, and whatever else you want and wrap cabbage leaves around those, then tin foil and throw it onto the coals of a fire.  Within 20 mins you have a wonderful meal.

Arundel Castle

For some reason I am unable to add comment to each picture so I will comment at the beginning of this entry. While Ed's parents, his sister Mim and her husband Ron Byler, Emily & JJ were still in England, we took a train to Arundel to see the castle there. It was a great day and a great castle.

More Wedding day pictures.

Some of the pictures wouldn't import so if you are on facebook, I have the entire album there.

The space is limited at the LMC so we have to share the mirror space.

Wedding Day for Adam & Erica

Emily and JJ practicing for the song they sang for the wedding.

Johnni Amobi is our neighbor and a professional actor/singer. He offered to sing at the wedding as a gift to us. He sang "unforgettable".

Brighton, England

We drove down to the Southern coast of England to the town of Brighton. It's got a pebble beach and the famous Brighton Pier with a carnival on it. Erica and Adam have not arrived yet so it was Emily, JJ, Hilary, Ed and me. It turned out to be a gorgeous day with lots of sun a warm weather. We thought it might be cool so we were not prepared for the heat. It did turn quite cool at night though.
I can't remember what this elaborate building is but it's nice.

A very nice sunset at the end of the day.

On the pier looking at the city's lights.

Emily and JJ enjoying the sun.

Hilary taking in the view. You can't tell it from this shot but there were loads of people there.

River boat to Hampton Court Palace

We took a cruise up the Thames to Henry VIII's Hampton court palace.

People were out in all kinds of crafts that day.

Here are some kids getting lessons.

The river is tidal and so at a couple of places where we had to go under bridges, and the tide was low, we had to go to the side and go through a lock system.

When the sun was out, we sat on top to see the views.

At HCP, there is a maze and this is Hilary at the end.

One of the rose gardens. It wasn't at it's peak.

There was a wedding close by and they were using the palace to take some pictures.

Another one of the formal gardens.

The other view of the palace.
