This is Ancelle who is just about to turn 3. She got some water colors on Sunday and this is what she made for me! The beads are suppose to be the 'wrapping'. Ancell and her family rent one of the LMC's flats. This is the hole in the fence that was probably started by some fox and has been discovered by the children that live in one of the LMC's flats and the neighbor's kids next door. They go back and forth so they can play together.
Ivy has been growing all along the fence in the back garden and it was getting out of control. Ed is halfway done here tearing it off.

So I am about ready to give up on this blog. Mostly because things change with it and I don't like the most recent change they made. So about three pictures down is what should be at the beginning. I hope I can tolerate it until we are done here. This is some of the house members getting ready for our hobo dinners last week.
Here's one of the vegetarian ones.
Autumn is in the air in London and we thought before it gets too cold, we would have another outside meal, this time doing hobo dinners. Most of you know I'm sure what those are but just in case....It's where you take meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, and whatever else you want and wrap cabbage leaves around those, then tin foil and throw it onto the coals of a fire. Within 20 mins you have a wonderful meal.
For some reason I am unable to add comment to each picture so I will comment at the beginning of this entry. While Ed's parents, his sister Mim and her husband Ron Byler, Emily & JJ were still in England, we took a train to Arundel to see the castle there. It was a great day and a great castle.
We started this blog when we moved from Harper, KS to Woodland Park, CO where we built a house in 2006. Then in February 2007, we moved to London, England where we are the host couple at The London Mennonite Centre until February 2010.
